George Searcy is the Executive Director of the HOPE Center.  In this capacity, he is dedicated to guiding the organization’s vision and objectives to bring reliable relief and consistent support to individuals experiencing homelessness in the North Orange County Service Planning Area (SPA).

He is working closely with the staff and the board, ensuring that HOPE Center continues to transform the lives of homeless individuals in Orange County. George is also coordinating with the North Orange County Public Safety Collaborative and other key stakeholders, reinforcing HOPE Center’s commitment to community collaboration and support.

With a career spanning over three decades, George brings a wealth of experience in social services, community development, and strategic leadership. He has held significant roles such as Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Chief Impact Officer. In these positions, he drove sustainable community development, created innovative strategies to support low-income populations, and consistently enhanced the social impact of various initiatives.

Previously, George led as Executive Director at Hope For Housing Foundation, developing best-practice health, human, and social services that provided platforms for social, academic, and economic opportunities. His tenure as Superintendent saw the development of a broad range of social service programs, showcasing his expertise in managing large-scale operations and diverse service offerings.

George holds a Master of Arts in Business Management from the University of Redlands and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. His academic foundation, coupled with his extensive professional experience, underscores his commitment to making a positive impact on communities across Orange County.
