Guillermo Mendez Clara

Guillermo has been working in homeless services since 2019. He graduated with a bachelors in Criminology from California State University, Long Beach.
He began working in the largest homeless shelter in Orange County, which housed over 400 individuals. He then transitioned into street outreach with a local non-profit agency in the City of Santa Ana. Shortly after, he was given the opportunity to conduct street outreach at the city level with the City of Stanton. Here he was involved in early conversations in what is now the HOPE Center of Orange County and the agency’s mission to address homelessness.
